If you form a new company through online service you must provide your registered office address which might differ from your service address, the details of a person with significant control, residential address for all company directors.
Documents originating in the British Overseas Territories “BVT” such as Anguilla, Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands, or Gibraltar have to be notarised and apostilled by the Governor’s office in the originated jurisdiction first. There are exceptions where we can assist with the legalisation of documents without an apostille from BVT. Documents issued in the British Overseas Territories without apostille can only be apostilled and legalised in the UK by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) as copies. Documents certified as originals by a UK Notary or Solicitor will be rejected by the UK Foreign Office.
Documents originating in the British Crown Dependency, Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man would have to be notarised and apostilled in the originated territory to re-apostille them by the FCDO. Some of the embassies accept the documents to be apostilled in the originated jurisdiction without having them be re-apostilled by the FCDO.

Who can apply for the legalisation of corporate documents?
You do not need to be a company director of the company to apply for attestation, however, some types of documents such as Board Resolution or corporate POA must be verified prior legalisation process. you can ask your company formation agent to contact us and provide your registered office address, company name, and company number.
Can you advise on the type of corporate documents that must be legalised?
We do not advise on the type of documents required to establish a subsidiary or a branch. We advise on how to prepare the documents from a legalisation perspective.
Can you issue a Certificate of Good Standing?
We can obtain a Certificate of Good Standing through the Companies House web incorporation service if the company is up to date with its filings. Companies House service is now known as Companies House beta. Certificate of Good Standing can be ordered for limited companies using same day service.
Do I have to legalise my corporate documents?
If the documents will be issued abroad they must be legalised by way of an apostille or legalised if the jurisdiction where the documents will be used is not a member of the Hague Convention Abolishing Foreign Legalisation. Each separate legal entity has different business documents that might require legalisation.
Do I have to visit your London office?
The documents can be delivered in person, by courier, or can be sent by registered post.
