Medical certificates requiring legalisation must have been signed by a doctor registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Those doctors must also be registered with the UK Legalisation Office, the FCDO
Medical certificates signed by doctors not registered with the FCDO will not be accepted for an apostille certificate. We can assist with certifying the medical reports as true copies by our solicitor only.
Please note that the apostille certificate is issued based on the solicitor’s certification, not the doctor’s signature.

We can have your medical report certified as a true copy but the FCDO will apostille the report based on the solicitor or Notary Public signature, not the doctor who has signed the report, note, or letter. Foreign public documents cannot be legalised as original documents. UK document report can be apostilled with next day service.
Why do I need an apostille on my medical report?
Apostille certificate will be required by overseas authorities to confirm that the report, medical note, or medical letter has been issued by a doctor who is recognized by the UK Foreign Office.
